Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Utility Agent to assist customers through the final step of the solar process. This role involves submitting paperwork and documentation required by local utility companies for Net Energy Metering (NEM) and Permission To Operate (PTO) the solar system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit applications, paperwork, and solar system information to local utility companies.
  • Monitor utility progress and provide solutions to customers and utility providers in the event of an issue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify utility requirements and objectives.
  • Build and maintain databases of utility information.
Customer Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the utility stage of the process.
  • Provide regular project status updates and address customer concerns.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including applications and NEM/PTO reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the solar or renewable energy industry, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate websites, application forms, and customer relationship management software.
