About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mercedes-Benz Certified or Master Level Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Swickard Auto Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Hospitality: Provide par excellence service to our guests, ensuring their vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Efficient Service and Repair: Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance work with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact daily with customers, Service Advisors, other Technicians, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates, and Managers to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the customer.
  • Multi-Point Inspections: Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
  • Documentation: Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
  • Training and Development: Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
  • Customer Experience: Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty and achieve targeted Customer Satisfaction Index.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of prior automotive diagnostic, and repair experience required.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively manage time to meet and exceed targets, strong desire to succeed, team player focused on providing exemplary customer service, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Education: Possess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
