Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support the health and educational needs of students in Orland Park, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities- Morning Duties: Serve as a district RN, addressing the general health needs of students and staff across the district.
- Afternoon Duties: Provide 1:1 nursing care to a 4-year-old student with Cerebral Palsy (CP) in a preschool classroom.
- Additional Duties: Complete follow-up tasks and coordinate with either the district or preschool team as needed.
- Paraprofessional Endorsement: Obtain a paraprofessional endorsement to provide general classroom support in the preschool setting when not engaged in medical tasks.
- Active RN licensure in Illinois.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Willingness to obtain a paraprofessional endorsement.
- Ability to work effectively with young children and provide both medical and general classroom support.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Roles: District RN in the mornings, 1:1 RN in the afternoons with potential paraprofessional duties.
- Contract Duration: ASAP - End of School Year (EOSY).
