About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our multidisciplinary critical care team at Children's Health (Dallas). As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based care to patients, delivering instruction to patients and their families, and precepting novice therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in our PICU/NICU/CVICU units
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Precept and mentor new therapists to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of Pediatric critical care RRT job-related experience
  • Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience
  • RRT recognized by the NBRC and an active Texas license
  • TX RCP license
  • BLS & PALS through the American Heart Association
  • NRP within 180 days of hire
  • RRT-NPS recognized by the NBRC within 24 months of hire
