As a member of our Machinery and Equipment Specialties department, you will serve as a field engineer responsible for conducting inspections of machinery and equipment boilers. This role can accommodate both trainees and seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain jurisdictional boiler and pressure vessel certificate inspections within your designated territory.
• Manage your territory efficiently and effectively.
• Educate agents on marketing machinery and equipment to their clientele.
• Act as a professional resource for our insurance agents to help them retain business and enhance their marketing efforts.
• Provide exceptional claims service to local independent insurance agents.

Qualifications:
• Strong time management and interpersonal communication skills.

For Trainees:
• An engineering or technically-focused bachelor's degree or relevant experience in boiler and pressure vessel work.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

For Experienced Engineers:
• Experience in machinery and equipment within a property and casualty insurance environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment, equipment breakdown coverages, and relevant regulations.
• A national board commission or the qualifications to obtain one promptly.
