Job Summary

Cowtown Materials Inc is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver-CDL to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely delivering building materials to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain company vehicles to ensure safe operation
  • Load and unload building materials at commercial and residential job sites
  • Deliver materials to assigned areas while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Report any accidents involving company equipment
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a minimum Class B license
  • Three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) with no incidents
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
Physical Demands
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle for extended periods
  • Ability to lift heavy building materials up to 80 pounds
  • Constant movement from unloading materials from a commercial motor vehicle onto a job site
Mental Demands
  • Ability to prioritize job sites and deadlines
  • Ability to manage stress in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with management and coworkers
