CDL Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial motor vehicle to deliver building materials to assigned areas. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
  • Load and unload building materials at commercial and residential job sites.
  • Deliver materials to assigned areas, prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Report any accidents or incidents involving the driver or company equipment.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials up to 100+ lbs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a minimum Class B License.
  • Three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) with no major infractions.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Boom experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
  • Constantly move materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
  • Operate commercial motor vehicles and/or boom vehicles.
  • Work in outside environments while making deliveries.
