Position Overview

The Window Installation Specialist serves as both an installer and maintenance technician for windows and screens. This full-time, hourly role is focused on the installation and upkeep of windows at various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

The Window Installation Specialist is responsible for a range of tasks including but not limited to:
  • Installing screens with precision.
  • Balancing and adjusting windows for optimal functionality.
  • Replacing glass panes and/or sashes as needed.
  • Ensuring windows are cleaned thoroughly upon completion of installation.
  • Documenting routine reports and correspondence for presentation to a small team.
  • Performing warehouse duties such as managing inventory and loading/unloading semi-trailers.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • The ability to read and understand simple instructions and documents, including policy and procedure manuals.
  • Strong written communication skills for composing brief correspondence and memos.
  • The capability to effectively present information to individuals in one-on-one settings.
  • Physical strength to lift items weighing up to 80 pounds periodically.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or relevant experience and/or training.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
