Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at 99 Healthcare Management. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, and collect patient histories
  • Assist with procedures, administer injections and immunizations, and perform other clinical tasks under the direction of our providers
  • Update and maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Clean and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Restock exam rooms and maintain a well-organized workspace
  • Process prescription refills and patient callbacks
  • Coordinate hospital admissions and laboratory services
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and other documents

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program required
  • Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems, with E-Clinical Works experience a plus
  • NCT certification a plus, but not required
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with no weekends or after-hours work.
