Position: Installation Coordinator - Mister Sparky Electric

Role Summary:

As an Installation Coordinator, you will be pivotal in ensuring efficient and cost-effective installations while assisting our teams in delivering outstanding customer service. Your proficiency in communication, collaboration, and coordination across various teams and departments is vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post-Sale and Materials Coordination:
    • Work closely with the Sales Team to guarantee timely procurement of parts and equipment.
    • Supervise material acquisition from approved suppliers for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Coordinate the preparation, sourcing, and staging of parts and equipment.
    • Assist in assigning installation teams and managing job assignments in software.
    • Ensure the accurate completion of installation job packets and materials ordering.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Collaborate with Procurement to order parts, materials, and equipment.
    • Oversee inventory tracking in job software and manage returns and reuse of surplus materials.
  • Inspections:
    • Coordinate with Permitting for filing and posting permits.
    • Verify job completion and follow up on inspection outcomes, addressing any issues as necessary.
  • Warranty Management:
    • Input serialized equipment into software and complete warranty registrations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Facilitate smooth workflow and communication between departments.
  • Data Management:
    • Conduct data entry and management, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Professionalism:
    • Participate in meetings and obtain necessary certifications.
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and ensure work quality aligns with company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the electrical industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in electrical, construction, or trades permitting is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement transactions.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel; ability to quickly learn new software.
