Sheet Metal Apprentice

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Journeymen and other Sheet Metal and Shop Employees in various entry-level tasks.
- Sort out material, layout, assembling, and entry-level sealing.
- Assist installation crews as a ground man, cranking the winch on the duct lift and performing other entry-level duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned up to Apprentice Level of Knowledge.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School Graduate Preferred.
- Understand English and follow directives.
- Must be able to see well, either naturally or with correction, and hear and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.
- Must use hands, fingers, arms, and legs fully; kneel, crouch, and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift, and stoop. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comply with all B&I safety procedures.
- Drug test, background check, and a clean driving record are pre-employment requirements.
