Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a skilled CNC Programming Specialist for a permanent role within our innovative manufacturing team.

This position presents a unique opportunity for a meticulous and technology-focused professional to apply their expertise in CNC programming, particularly with CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and refining CNC programs, ensuring optimal precision and efficiency in our production processes.

This role is vital for upholding the quality of our products and enhancing the productivity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and enhance CNC programs utilizing CAD/CAM software for CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications to establish the sequence of operations.
  • Perform regular tests and inspections of programmed CNC machinery to verify functionality and performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to boost efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of each machine's programs and modifications.
  • Educate and support machine operators on new programs and adjustments.
  • Implement and follow safety and compliance protocols.
  • Continuously explore and adopt new programming techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, particularly with CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
  • Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of the properties of metals and other materials used in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in a related field is a plus.
