Key Responsibilities:- Provide HR support to leaders and employees across the plant, focusing on employee and labor relations, performance management, organizational development, training, and talent acquisition.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring operational excellence in the facility.
- Lead HR initiatives, including policy development, process improvement, and compliance with Colgate policies and federal and state employment legislation.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to create and implement strategic organization plans, labor relations plans, and resource/staffing plans.
- Mentor team members in communication skills, career paths, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Assist leaders in completing the annual Performance Management and Development process.
- Guide managers in developing corrective actions and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up for low-performing employees.
- Partner with compensation to develop annual salary planning, merit forecasting, and wage/salary surveys.
- Lead recruitment activities, assessment, and selection processes to fill vacant positions.
- Ensure onboarding and assimilation processes align with the organization's vision and culture.
- Coordinate employee transfers, conduct exit interviews, and provide recommendations for corrective action policy revision.
- BS or BA degree in HR, Business, Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant Human Resource Generalist experience, including staffing, compensation, development, employee relations, and HRIS.
- 5 years of proven experience in a manufacturing or related environment.
- Strong project management, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Masters Degree in HR, Business, Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications: PHR/SPHR/GPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
- Proficiency with SAP-HR and Success Factors systems.
- Proficiency with Google Suites Applications.
- Experience in manufacturing operations management outside of Human Resources.
Hill's Pet Nutrition offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $155,000 USD, based on experience, job-related knowledge, and education. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives.
The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance, retirement plans, vacation/PTO, paid holidays, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave.
