We are looking for empathetic and skilled Family Support Specialists to deliver case management, pregnancy counseling, and parenting/adoption education and support through our Pregnancy and Parenting Services in various counties in Missouri.

In this role, you will have the chance to provide and uphold child welfare services, as well as counseling and case management for pregnant women, birth families, and families in crisis.

Duties

• Deliver effective counseling and case management to diverse client populations.
• Establish and nurture relevant community networks and interactions, collaborating with program supervisors and staff.
• Offer consultation and insights to leadership for the program as needed.

• Pursue ongoing professional development in areas such as cultural competence, social diversity, and therapeutic techniques relevant to job responsibilities.

Qualifications


• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle as per state and/or organizational requirements.

• Case Manager or Social Worker Bachelors - Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, or related Human Behavior Science fields.


• Case Manager or Social Worker Masters - Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, or related Human Behavior Science fields.

• A minimum of two years of experience in Child Welfare, Adoption, Foster Care, community resources, and/or care coordination.
