Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Corteva in Utica, IL. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of company equipment, performing electrical repairs and scheduled inspections, and adhering to quality systems and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure operation of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility.
  • Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair any problem of electrical/mechanical nature.
  • Adhere to all quality systems and safety procedures, including environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive a company vehicle as needed.
  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • 1+ year industrial electrician experience.
  • Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).
  • Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, instrumentation, and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience.
