Job Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
- Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts and shocks.
- Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing under car repairs.
- NY State Inspection License.
Automotive Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
