The role is focused on cultivating independent account business, prioritizing overall profitability through both new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships. The position involves promoting and selling company-branded products while achieving brand sales targets. Additionally, it may involve supporting customer service initiatives for regional and national chain clients, enhancing the company's visibility in the market and maximizing market share. The individual will collaborate as a team member within the department and organization, undertaking any assigned tasks to best serve the company.

Key Responsibilities:Identifies and generates new business by evaluating the sales territory and individual client needs; samples products for current and prospective clients; develops a comprehensive sales strategy, including effective time and territory management; customizes sales approaches for individual clients; and delivers impactful sales presentations.Continuously increases sales and profit margins to achieve set sales and margin objectives.Establishes new client accounts by determining pricing structures; collaborates with the Credit Department for initial approvals; coordinates with other personnel for order-taking, delivery scheduling, etc. Conducts initial follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery and product quality.Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, working closely with other personnel to coordinate efforts to prevent and resolve any client issues. May be responsible for making deliveries in urgent situations.Enhances business with existing clients through increased product penetration to maximize the profitability of individual accounts.Reduces accounts receivable challenges by monitoring compliance with credit terms and addressing any issues promptly.Maintains awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory, particularly for market-driven and commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.Performs additional related duties as assigned.
