**Job Summary**

Morrison Express is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services from our warehouse to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage outbound orders through various channels, including EDI, phone, email, and our in-house WMS system.
  • Prepare and coordinate shipping documents, routing information, and appointments with carriers.
  • Monitor and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Adjust or cancel orders and process inbound returns as requested.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers through various communication channels.
  • Generate and send daily, weekly, or monthly reports to customers as requested.
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date with customer and carrier service contract arrangements.
  • Coordinate with shippers, truckers, carriers, and overseas offices for export/import shipments.
  • Ensure quality control and accuracy of documents and data entry.
  • Report operational irregularities to supervisors and direct managers.
  • Determine the cause of customer delivery issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding temperature-sensitive, time-sensitive, and OOG shipments.
  • Guide customers through the delivery cycle from start to finish.
  • Manage customer contact and exceptions at the file level.
  • Maintain the CargoWise1 system and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in a 3PL, retail distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Preferred experience handling warehouse or distribution accounts.
  • Strong PC literacy, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WMS skills.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and ability to multitask.
