In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to OEM Dealer technicians, utilizing state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and workshop exercises to enhance their automotive knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive learning environments for students/technicians, fostering their passion for the OEM and imparting expert knowledge.
- Utilize strong OEM technical knowledge to teach dealer technicians and enhance their automotive skills, following instructor's guides and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with the OEM training department to ensure the availability of training handouts, required tools, and equipment, and record training outcomes as directed by OEM management.
- Ensure safety regulations and OSHA requirements are met, and report unsatisfactory conditions immediately.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior history as an automotive technician required, with technical experience with OEM vehicles.
- Prior OEM instructional experience preferred, with five years' experience as an instructor in a technical field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective connection with technicians/students, fellow staff, and OEM dealer personnel.
- Organizational skills, planning, prioritization, time management, and deadline-oriented, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
