POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Vehicle Assembly Specialist is tasked with the assembly of various components for both semi-finished and finished products, as well as the installation of assemblies onto trucks and vehicles.
This role involves the integration of upgrades and accessories, including lighting systems, cameras, telematics, and other electronic devices, along with exterior components such as fenders, bumpers, and protective guards.
The primary objective is to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product that meets customer expectations and is ready for immediate use. The Vehicle Assembly Specialist will conduct regular testing and inspections to verify compliance with established specifications.Effective communication with the Labor Supervisor, Quality Analyst, and senior team members is essential for fostering collaboration and ensuring timely project completion.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
Possession of basic personal tools is highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
A minimum of two to three years of relevant experience in manufacturing and assembly is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
In the execution of this role, the employee is frequently required to use hands for handling and manipulation; reach with hands and arms; and engage in verbal communication.
The work environment noise level varies, typically quiet in office settings but can be moderate to loud in other areas, with potential for both constant and sudden loud sounds.
