Electrical Engineer

Join PACCAR as an Electrical Engineer and contribute to the development of our Autonomous Vehicle Platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and electronic systems for our heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for our Autonomous Vehicle Platform
- Develop technical requirement specifications for redundant power distribution and other ADS-related components
- Integrate ADS-related electrical/electronic features/requirements into Peterbilt/PACCAR vehicles
- Manage engineering and project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionality
- Plan and track validation testing of components
- Support product launch at vehicle assembly plants
- Ensure industry-leading quality and reliability is met/maintained/exceeded on all components
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of DC power distribution, management, protection, fusing, and routing systems
- Knowledge of DC power storage, conversion, and generation related to low-voltage power systems
- Experience developing vehicle systems is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required
- Handles multiple tasks, takes initiative, team player, problem-solver, professional, and effective communication skills (written and verbal) is required
