Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Healthcare Professional to join our team at Ahmc Healthcare Inc. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient and outpatient PACU settings, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a safe and efficient recovery environment.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients' post-anesthesia care needs, developing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions throughout their hospital stay.
  • This role requires strong clinical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage patients' post-anesthesia care needs, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that prioritize patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient transitions throughout their hospital stay.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-anesthesia care, medication management, and other relevant topics.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration records.
Qualifications:
  • Current CA RN License (in good standing)
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient and outpatient PACU settings
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
