Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation of patients
  • Provide intraoperative general anesthesia care in collaboration with attending anesthesiologists
  • Implement, monitor, and adjust patient physiologic condition as appropriate for type of anesthesia and specific patient needs
  • Transfer responsibility for patient care to other qualified providers post-operatively to ensure continuity of care and patient safety
  • Administer spinal, epidural, caudal, and nerve block anesthesia
  • Support departmental and operating room procedures in the promotion of patient satisfaction and quality
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a program of nurse anesthesia approved by the Council on Accreditation Programs
  • Passing of the certification examination administered by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
