Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Installation Technician/Installer to join our team at Mark Carpenter Plumbing Co. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to meet or exceed manufacturer's recommendations and local codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, modify, and repair warm air furnaces, air conditioners, duct distribution systems, boilers, water heaters, and related piping and electrical systems.
  • Start up installed equipment and adjust to manufacturer's and job specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair issues that arise during installation to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Communicate with customers regarding proper operation and maintenance of installed equipment, answering related questions and providing guidance.
  • Perform required documentation for each installation, including startup records, and collect payments as directed.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair.
  • Dependable transportation.
  • Owns necessary tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with dual fuel heat pumps.
  • Ability to work independently and lead others.
  • Familiarity with high voltage wiring and ability to read wiring schematics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
