IT Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to lead our Information Technology Department at Cibola General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, establishing policies and procedures, and directing staff to ensure the effective delivery of IT services.

1. Develop and implement IT strategies to support hospital operations and improve patient care.
2. Manage and supervise IT staff, including training, performance evaluations, and personnel actions.
3. Develop and recommend department budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
4. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve hospital operations.
5. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronically protected health information.
6. Develop and implement security measures to protect hospital information systems and networks.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by Administration.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of IT management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, systems, and software packages, including HMS Clinical Systems.
• Experience with Active Directory and project management.

The IT Director will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. The position involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing.
