Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team at Med-Trans Corporation. As a Flight Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in emergency situations, working collaboratively with our team of air transportation experts to ensure safe and efficient patient transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient situations to determine the best course of action for critical care
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, adhering to safety standards and briefings
  • Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Ensure accurate company and regulatory documentation and records
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in an ALS or critical care setting
  • Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
  • NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (Provided During Orientation)
  • Will be required to obtain trauma certification within 12 months of hire
  • Advanced Certification (FP-C) is required within 24 months of hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous air medical transport experience
  • Advanced Certification (FP-C)
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
