We're hiringa Flight Paramedic to work with ourteam of air transportation experts to safely transport patients toand from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety andeffective and efficient patient care are key pillars of ourservices; therefore, you'll work on a quality, professional teamthat is committed to high safety standards for the crew and ourcustomers.
Responsibilities:
- Flight Paramedics willassess each situation to determine the best course of action tosupport, monitor, and treat patients in critical caresituations
- Utilizes critical thinking skills tomanage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient andsupport physicians' orders
- Takes pride inproviding a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment,maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies withsafety standards and briefings
- Workscollaboratively and effectively communicates in a professionalmanner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews,facilities, and partners
- Shares shift changeinformation to transitioning team and follows protocols to maintainaccurate company and regulatory documentation andrecords
- Paramedics are accountable to maintainrequired certifications and ongoing training required for theposition
OtherResponsibilities:
- Committed to beingon-time, reliable, professional, and meeting our elevated standardsin safety andservice
MinimumRequiredQualifications:
- Minimumof 3 years of recent experience in an ALS or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in thestates served by the assigned area
- NREMT-Pcertification may be required in assignedarea
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior toflight status
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider(Provided During Orientation)
- Will be requiredto obtain trauma certification within 12 months ofhire
- Advanced Certification (FP-C) is requiredwithin 24 months of hire
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills
PreferredQualification:
- Previousair medical transport experience
- AdvancedCertification (FP-C)
- Instructor certificationsin BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
