We are seeking an experienced Patient Account Manager to join our team at Concord Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, verifying demographic information, and ensuring financial compliance with insurance eligibility responses.
About the RoleYou will work collaboratively with patients, their families, and the care team to provide exceptional customer service while navigating complex healthcare systems. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Verifies patient demographic information and ensures accuracy.
- Makes collection attempts and provides education on available resources.
- Secures signatures for all required documentation and maintains accurate records.
To be successful in this role, you will require a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service setting, and proficiency in navigating computerized systems. Critical thinking skills and knowledge of medical terminology are highly desirable.
