We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at AdeIphi Medical Staffing. As a Physiotherapist Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
About the Role:
- This is a contract/travel position, working 8A-4:30P, Monday through Saturday, with an estimated duration of 13 weeks.
- The ideal candidate will have a valid Physical Therapy State license, CPR, and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED).
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Patient CareAs a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical assessments, reviewing medical histories, and collaborating with healthcare colleagues to understand patient needs.
You will develop tailored treatment plans based on assessments, establishing specific goals for rehabilitation or recovery.
Design and implement customized exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
Use hands-on techniques for mobility enhancement and pain relief, including joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and manual stretching.
Apply modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy to ease pain, reduce inflammation, and aid tissue healing.
Provide guidance on the use of assistive devices (e.g., crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to improve mobility.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and injury prevention related to body mechanics and ergonomics.
Pain Management and RehabilitationDevelop pain management strategies, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques for pain reduction.
Assist patients in regaining independence after surgery, injury, or illness to enhance their quality of life.
Continuously assess and document patient progress toward rehabilitation goals, adapting treatment plans as needed.
Communication and TeamworkCommunicate effectively with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and OTs, to optimize patient care.
Provide personalized home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
Keep accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, progress notes, and changes in the patient's condition.
Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and professionalism within our team and with patients.
About Our Benefits:Competitive salary range: $60,800 - $80,600 per 13-week period, depending on location and experience.
