Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepare patients for exams.
  • Provide sensitive and compassionate care to patients throughout the procedure.
  • Clearly explain procedures to patients and families to facilitate cooperation and alleviate anxiety.
  • Address patient concerns and respond to emergent situations promptly and appropriately.
  • Perform radiologic exams that produce high-quality images and ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
  • Thoroughly and accurately complete required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV Certification.
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA.
