Key Responsibilities- Assess and provide nursing intervention for patients with actual and potential problems related to the disease process, treatment course, and follow-up period.
- Provide clinical care, nursing consultation, and education as it relates to oncology care and radiation therapy delivery.
- Participate in leadership roles of clinician, educator, consultant, and/or researcher.
- Collaborate and consult with patients, families, and caregivers to enhance desired clinical outcomes.
- Communicate significant alterations in patient status to the Radiation Oncologist and carry out nursing action plans to resolve problems.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree.
- Over 3 years of experience preferred.
- OCN Certification.
