Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Maintenance of Treatment Rooms
    • Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared for patient examinations, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
  • Ordering and Inventory Management
    • Order medical supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Patient Communication and Data Entry
    • Interview patients to obtain their medical history, and record vital statistics and test results in patient medical files.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist with purchasing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
    • Properly dispose of contaminated supplies.
  • Referral and Medication Management
    • Help with patient concerns and submit referrals as needed.
    • Order medications and refills as authorized.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Technical degree in a related field.
    • 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • CPR and first aid certification required.
    • Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Active listening and social perceptiveness.
    • Bi-lingual preferred.
