Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Maintenance of Treatment Rooms
- Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared for patient examinations, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
- Ordering and Inventory Management
- Order medical supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Patient Communication and Data Entry
- Interview patients to obtain their medical history, and record vital statistics and test results in patient medical files.
- Administrative Support
- Assist with purchasing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
- Properly dispose of contaminated supplies.
- Referral and Medication Management
- Help with patient concerns and submit referrals as needed.
- Order medications and refills as authorized.
- Education and Experience
- Technical degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licenses and Certifications
- CPR and first aid certification required.
- Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Active listening and social perceptiveness.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
