About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join a distinguished Civil Litigation Firm. This role offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for clients in court or before governmental bodies, presenting evidence to support or contest legal actions.
  • Analyze and interpret statutes, rulings, and regulations for both individuals and corporations.
  • Draft and prepare various legal documents, including contracts, leases, and other essential legal instruments.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues to formulate effective case strategies.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients regarding business transactions, liability claims, and their legal rights and obligations.
  • Collect evidence to build a defense or initiate legal proceedings, including interviewing clients and witnesses.
  • Negotiate settlements in civil disputes to minimize litigation costs and risks for clients.
  • Focus on representing clients within the commercial construction and engineering sectors, addressing their unique legal challenges.


Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active membership in the state bar and in good standing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business or civil litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic and creative mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts clearly.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism, dedicated to client service.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities to resolve disputes favorably for clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal oversight.
