We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within our healthcare system.
Responsibilities- Interpret provider orders and prescriptions, compounding and dispensing medications within regulatory guidelines and professional standards.
- Consult with patients and others as required regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
- Provide drug information to patients, health care workers and others as necessary.
- Provide oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other supporting staff, directing work flow and assurance of completion of duties.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in area of practice.
- 1 year hospital experience strongly preferred.
- PGY-1 or BCPS preferred.
- May be required to be on-call in certain situations.
- Bachelor's Science or Pharm D required.
- Active Pharmacist license in the state you are practicing required.
- ACLS Preferred.
