Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified part-time faculty member to join our Psychology program at Allan Hancock College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in-person classes at our Santa Maria campus, Lompoc Valley Center, and/or the Federal Correctional Institution, Lompoc, as needed. This is a part-time position, and the assignment may include day, evening, or weekend classes.

As a faculty member, you will be expected to provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines, maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas, and fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in psychology or a related field, such as counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or social work. A current and complete resume of education and professional experience, as well as transcripts, are required for the application process.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $65.74 to $86.44, depending on education and experience. As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population and contribute to the success of our students and the college community.
