Job Title: CDL/VAC Truck Operator

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking skilled CDL/VAC Truck Operators to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs facility in Middletown, OH.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced individuals to operate industrial equipment, including tractor trailers, vacuum trucks, and hydro blasting pumps. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment, setting up and breaking down equipment, and performing manual labor in industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum trucks, lifting, carrying, and pulling hoses of up to 100 pounds, climbing on the unit (12' high), and performing minor maintenance.
  • Perform operation of high-pressure cleaning equipment, requiring climbing up and down the unit to set up and take down equipment.
  • Check all waste (truck load) related paperwork prior to transport for accuracy and complete information necessary (manifests, bill of lading, land disposal restriction forms); ensure proper placarding.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols of MPS and the host facility along with DOT regulations and all local, state, and federal laws related to the work assigned.
  • Perform manual labor in industrial settings.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Class A or B CDL license.
  • OSHA 10 certification is mandatory prior to hire (may obtain through company-sponsored program).
  • One year of related experience.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Pass a drug test and physical.
Working Conditions:

The position requires the operation of standard trucks and working in industrial settings.
