Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our CarePartners team. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other relevant data.
  • Assist patients with mobility, including regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating.
  • Collect specimens for diagnostic or waived tests and ensure accuracy of labels and timely transfer of specimens.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including eating and drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination.
  • Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals/AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Work experience in lieu of degree or high school graduate/GED.
