Diagnostic Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a Body Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting imaging exams, performing gastrointestinal and genitourinary exams, and providing clinical oversight of medication administration.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret imaging exams in general radiology, body imaging, and nuclear medicine
- Perform gastrointestinal and genitourinary exams with contrast material
- Review radiology requests for appropriateness and respond to consults timely
- Provide clinical oversight of medication administration, including contrast material and other medications relevant to practice of diagnostic radiology
- Participate in quality assurance programs, such as peer review and performance improvement
- Participate in teaching programs and clinical conferences, such as tumor boards
This is an on-site position, and Radiologists will be expected to rotate between campuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including annual performance bonus, guaranteed salary increases, and malpractice liability protection with tail coverage.
