Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at First Choice Community Health Centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and ensuring the corporation's financial health.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in financial reporting, short-range and long-term financial planning, general accounting, and audit coordination. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage subordinate employees and work effectively with financial leaders of other subsidiaries.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for developing and executing financial policies and procedures, overseeing the financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. They will also be responsible for managing the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, grants accounting, budget preparation, logistics functions, and information management systems.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director or CFO-level finance professional. They will also have a strong understanding of computerized accounting systems, budgets, and financial data operations, as well as experience with third-party billing, contracting, collections, and cost-reporting (Medicaid & Medicare).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial policies and procedures
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
  • Manage the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, grants accounting, budget preparation, logistics functions, and information management systems
  • Lead and manage subordinate employees
  • Work effectively with financial leaders of other subsidiaries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director or CFO-level finance professional
  • Strong understanding of computerized accounting systems, budgets, and financial data operations
