BIM Modeling Specialist

Perpetual Labor Sourcing LLC is seeking a highly skilled BIM Operator/CAD Design professional to join our team. As a BIM Operator/CAD Design, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing building information models (BIMs) for construction projects.

• Create, modify, and manage BIM models using software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Assist with the creation and development of 3D models of mechanical systems with an emphasis on plumbing and piping systems to support construction projects
• Develop clash detection reports and coordinate with project teams to resolve issues
• Produce drawings and documentation from BIM models, including construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM models are accurate and up to date
• Coordinate BIM modeling efforts with subcontractors and design teams
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and processes
• Train and mentor junior BIM staff
• Participate in project meetings and provide BIM-related expertise and support

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling for construction projects
• Strong understanding of BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of construction processes and building systems
• Experience with clash detection and resolution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in MS Office and BIM-related software

The BIM Operator/CAD Design will work primarily in an office environment, with occasional visits to construction sites. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.

The BIM Operator/CAD Design must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer for extended periods. The role may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
