Are you seeking additional opportunities as a Respiratory Therapist?

In your role as a Respiratory Therapist at Merit Health Madison, you will be essential in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Qualifications:
  • An Associate's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program is mandatory.
  • Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
  • A valid Respiratory Therapist License issued by the state of Mississippi is necessary.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required (NRP and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • Experience with Ventilators, High Flow O2, and BiPAP machines is essential.
  • Familiarity with Cerner charting is advantageous.
  • A positive demeanor and effective time management skills are crucial.
Position Overview:
  • We are in search of a therapist who is comfortable working independently when necessary. Our facility comprises 67 beds, including ICU, ER, and Med Surg (no Labor & Delivery services).
  • Available shifts include days, evenings, and weekends.
