CT Imaging Specialist

The CT Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position requires a dedicated professional who is skilled in performing a comprehensive array of CT examinations.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Certification
- Additional Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, CPI, and others as needed based on departmental specifications.
- Conduct a full spectrum of CT imaging procedures.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff when necessary.
- Work with patients across various age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics.
- Utilize advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens and Phillips systems.
- Adhere to departmental dress code: Navy Blue scrubs.
This role encompasses a variety of procedures, including:
- Code Stroke
- CT Angiography (CTA)
- Abdominal, Pelvic, and Chest Imaging
- CT Biopsy and Spine Imaging
- Chest Tube Placement and Extremity Imaging
- Facial Bone Imaging
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Emergency Room experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Level I Trauma Centers.
- Experience in Teaching and Community Hospitals.
- Children's Hospital and Adult ICU experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in IV starts, PACS, contrast administration, and biopsy procedures.
Candidates should possess experience in:
- Abdominal, Head/Neck, Chest, and Spine CT procedures.
- Musculoskeletal imaging and aspirations/biopsies.
- Brain perfusion studies, colonography, and CT arthrography.
- Drainage procedures and myelography.
- Radiation therapy planning and transplant studies.
- CT Angiography and multiplanar reconstruction techniques.
The position requires:
- 5x8 shifts from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, Tuesday through Saturday.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application.
- No time off is permitted during the initial two weeks of the assignment.
- Once RTO is submitted, changes are only allowed to cancel previously requested time.
- A government-issued photo ID is required prior to commencement.
- An Emergency Contact Form must be completed before starting.
- Travel and per diem staff may sign an attestation if background checks are pending.
