Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs complex Computed Tomography imaging procedures under direct supervision, producing diagnostic images of human anatomy and vascular structures. This role involves providing accurate image archival, verification, and archival of complete studies on the PACS System. The technologist must maintain accurate records, ensure patient comfort and confidentiality, and adhere to sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate exams and communicate with nursing units
  • Demonstrate professionalism and ethical judgment
  • Follow departmental policies and maintain equipment
  • Uphold certification/licensure requirements
  • Participate in dispatch, assessment, and treatment of acute stroke patients
Requirements
  • CRT Radiography - required
  • ARRT (R) - required
  • ARRT (CT) licensure - required
  • Venipuncture certificate - required
  • Radiologic Technologist Program Graduate - required
  • A minimum of 3 years of CT experience - highly desired and preferred
  • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnoses
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of medical and scientific terminology
  • Strong detail and deadline orientation
  • Understanding of human anatomy and pathology
Salary Range

$48.28 - $63.65 Hourly
