We're seeking a talented Audit Manager to join our team, someone who is passionate about working with hospitals, senior living facilities, FQFC, and home health organizations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid arrangement, with the ability to travel to clients and Wipfli offices as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage audit, review, and compilation engagements, as well as multiple teams, and provide performance feedback to team members.
  • Partner with senior managers, directors, and partners in risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
  • Oversee daily operations of the audit engagement, including staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
  • Assist clients with GAAP compliance and the adoption of FASB Accounting Standard Updates, addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Serve as an instructor in firm, department training programs, and meetings.
  • Take part in and provide leadership in community, networking, and business development activities.
Qualifications:
  • CPA license required.
  • 5 years of experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Ability to travel to client sites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
