Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist 2-Outpatient to join our team at Loma Linda Univ Behavioral. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills, serving as a resource to other clinical therapists and the multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical services, participate in case management, discharge planning, and intervene in high-risk situations.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team, collateral contacts, and community agencies to deliver high-quality patient care services.
  • Provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed staff within the scope of designated state license.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling-related field, or Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with preference for acute psychiatric facilities with age-specific populations.
  • Required licensure: MFT, LPCC, Psychologist, or LCSW.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of psychotherapy theory and techniques.
  • Ability to identify need for supervision/consultation and utilize appropriately.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
Working Conditions
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure.
  • Ability to lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate with others.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
