As a Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist, your responsibilities include:
- Conducting intricate medical laboratory tests for disease diagnosis and treatment.
- Analyzing and ensuring the accuracy of test results.
- Maintaining complex laboratory instruments and overseeing quality control and assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform specimen processing and testing, including moderate to high complexity analyses.
- Analyze test outcomes and take responsibility for their precision.
- Execute preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment; troubleshoot issues and implement corrective measures.
- Exhibit proactive problem-solving skills, identifying issues and determining when to seek assistance for troubleshooting protocols.

- Implement quality control management, including running controls, evaluating data, documenting findings, and taking necessary corrective actions.
- Communicate relevant quality control information to supervisory personnel.

- Anticipate and assess the need for new methodologies, instrumentation, and technologies based on customer requirements, cost-effectiveness, and revenue potential, and report findings to management.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and serve as a resource for internal and external customers.

- Manage assigned projects, including developing plans, coordinating resources, establishing timelines, updating management on progress, and completing projects within designated timeframes.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) with 15 years of clinical laboratory experience
- OR
- Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- OR
- Bachelor's Degree with preferred clinical laboratory experience.

Licenses and Certifications:
One of the following certifications is required:
- MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), CLS(NCA), MT(HEW), CLT(NCA), MLT(ASCP), or MLT(AMT). Certification may be waived for individuals with 5 years of laboratory experience.
