Job Description

At Cutting Edge Countertops, we are seeking a skilled Countertop Fabricator to join our team. As a Fabricator, you will play a vital role in the success of our business by working with a team to fabricate high-quality countertops using a variety of hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery: sanders, miter saws, table saws, and routers to precision-cut and shape countertops.
  • Assemble countertops: cut and assemble countertops to specified sizes, ensuring accurate measurements and precise fitments.
  • Apply build-up: cut and apply build-up materials to countertops, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Banding and finishing: band countertops and apply finishes to achieve a high-quality, professional finish.
  • Installation and fabrication: install sinks into countertops and fabricate applied edge tops, ensuring a seamless and durable finish.
  • Gluing and laying laminate: glue and lay laminate materials to create a strong and durable surface.
  • Cleaning and maintenance: clean and maintain work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Physical demands: ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for a minimum of 9 hours, and perform tasks that require good vision, color vision, hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity skills.
  • Work environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, climb, kneel, reach, and push, as well as read, write, follow instructions, and perform mathematical calculations.
