POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is accountable for the operational oversight of the support services team within the Anatomic Pathology department.

The responsibilities encompass all necessary operations to provide services, including administrative tasks, management of electronic medical records, organization of slide filing and distribution, enhancing patient services and satisfaction, fostering physician relationships, supervising clerical staff, and driving quality and performance improvements. Additionally, this position will facilitate training and process optimization aimed at enhancing quality and efficiency.

The role will also manage the Anatomic Pathology send-out procedures, ensuring that samples are dispatched promptly for testing at designated laboratories and that results are accurately entered into the laboratory information systems.

This position actively participates in the strategic planning and overall enhancement of clinical services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A minimum of one year of managerial or supervisory experience in a related field is preferred. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is desirable. Proficiency in medical terminology is essential.
