Additional $5.25/hr

This part-time position involves sampling beverage products for suppliers at a retail location. Beverage Sampling Associates engage customers with new and innovative items and brands through tasting events.

Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, or brand representation is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Uphold a professional appearance in line with job expectations and specific attire for beverage sampling (typically dark clothing).

Understand and adhere to Federal, State, and Local regulations regarding the sampling and marketing of alcoholic beverages.

Obtain the necessary permits, licenses, or certifications as required by law.

Safely and professionally prepare and serve beverage and food samples using various equipment and small appliances.

Qualifications

Must be 18-21 years of age based on location

Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holiday and weekday shifts may be available

Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays

Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate)

Capability to stand for the duration of the event

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse setting. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning agents.

$15.00 / hr
