Aerospace Mechanic Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Mechanic to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. As an Aerospace Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on fighter aircraft, including the F-16, F-18, F-22, and F-35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components on the aircraft.
  • Responsible for the acceptability of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, and periodic inspections of the aircraft.
  • Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access to equipment requiring repair.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of F-16 or other legacy fighter heavy maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work first or second shift.
  • Extensive knowledge of F-16, fighter-type mechanic experience, and experience as a Crew Chief, Plane Captain, or similar role.
  • Military fighter aircraft experience, with F-16 experience being a must.
  • Ability to work 1st or 2nd Shift, 4-10 hour days.
